Energy code documentation for your fenestration
Both Rick and Matt are registered NFRC Approved Calculation Entities (ACE), so the simulations are run here rather than sent out.
The IECC requires that fenestration U-factor and SHGC be determined in accordance with NFRC procedures. For commercial projects that means a whole-product rating built from the specific framing series, glass make-up and spacer on your job — not a catalogue number.

What we need from you
The more of this you can send with the request, the faster the report comes back.
The project
Project name, location and bid date. Location matters — the applicable code and climate zone follow from it.
The system
Framing series and configuration — storefront, curtainwall, window wall or entrances — along with the finish and any thermal break.
The glass
Glass make-up and spacer. If the specification sets a target U-factor or SHGC, send that too and we will work to it.
